Appointment of non-executive board member

Dublin – May 17, 2017 – Cosmo Pharmaceuticals N.V. (SIX: COPN) today announced thatin accordance with the explanatory notes to agenda item no. 7 of the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on 24 May 2017, the shareholders and the board of directors of COSMO Pharmaceuticals N.V. ("COSMO") have been provided with the opportunity to recommend a candidate for the position of non-executive board member. After careful consideration, the board of directors recommends Mrs. Eimear Cowhey to be appointed as non-executive board member at the AGM on 24 May 2017. The board of directors has conducted an extensive search and believes Mrs. Cowhey has notable experience to bring significant additional skills to the Board.

 

It is proposed to appoint Mrs. Eimear Cowhey as non-executive board member for a period of one year as of the date of the AGM.
